Exocharts Reviews

I’ve been using Exocharts for a little while now, it was easier to pick up than I thought it would be. I don’t mind spending time learning a tool if it actually feels worth it, and this one hasn’t made me feel like I’m wasting my time. The layout started making sense quickly, and I didn’t feel completely lost like I have with some other charting tools. I’m still figuring out some of the extra features, but the basics clicked fast enough for me to feel good about sticking with it. So far, it’s been a solid experience.

Exocharts is honestly a massive letdown because it’s way too buggy to justify the price. You’re trying to trade and the platform crashes, glitches or lags right when you need to see the footprint clearly. This is a ongoing thing week in week out.

It’s supposed to be "pro" gear, but it feel like I am using a platform created and run by teenagers.

I really wanted to like Exocharts because the idea is solid and the tools are actually useful. But in my experience, it’s just been too unstable. The charts have frozen on me a few times right when the market was moving, and I had to refresh more than once to get things working again. The layout is fine, but the lag makes it hard to trust for paid use. Maybe other people have better luck, but I’d be cautious if you’re relying on it for live trading

The data has been accurate for me so far, and I haven’t run into any weird issues. It just gives me a good gut feeling that I can trust it.

The charts are fine, nothing amazing but they do the job. My main issue was with support. I had a billing question and it took around a few days to hear back. When they finally replied, the answer was brief and didn’t really solve everything. It’s okay if you’re not in a rush, but not ideal if you need help fast

I’d give Exocharts 4 stars mainly because the price feels reasonable for what you’re getting. It’s not exactly cheap, but if you’re using order flow and charts most days, it seems like it more or less pays for itself. It took me a little while to get comfortable with it, and a few things could probably be smoother, but overall I’d say it’s a good deal.

I’ve been using Exocharts mostly for footprint charts and volume profile, and it’s been good for that. The charts feel quick, nothing really lags in a way that annoys me, and when I’m watching imbalances or delta shifts it’s easy to see what’s going on without digging around too much.

That said, the first few sessions were kind of a “wait, where is that setting again?” situation. There are a lot of options, which is great once you know what you’re doing, but at the start it can feel a little less obvious than you’d expect. I had to click around and mess things up a bit before it started making sense.

Overall, I’d say it’s a really useful tool if you’re into order flow trading. It’s not perfect, and I wouldn’t call it super beginner-friendly right away, but once you get comfortable with the setup, it becomes one of those things you just keep open because it actually helps
